Our Founder
In 2018, fresh out of art school and uncertain about my future, I found myself missing the hands-on creativity that had filled my days. Living in a tiny apartment, I turned to candle making to reignite my passion for art and continue crafting something both creative and useful. What started as a personal hobby quickly blossomed into a small business when I opened an Etsy shop a few months later.
Now, six years on, MOCO has grown into a small but dedicated team, and I've been incredibly fortunate to share my passion with more people than I ever imagined. Despite this growth, our core mission remains unchanged: MOCO is still independently run, crafting all fragrances in-house. This commitment ensures that every product we create not only captures our artistic spirit but also maintains the authenticity and quality that our customers fell in love with in the beginning.

We always strive to be as close to zero waste as possible (unfortunately, broken glass must be thrown away since it poses a risk to recycling plant workers.) Waste created by our production of goods is recycled using TerraCycle boxes.
